BCCI Reveals India vs Zimbabwe Schedule For 2026

India will tour Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series in July 2026, with all matches set to be played at Harare Sports Club.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially confirmed that Team India will tour Zimbabwe for a three-match T20I series in July 2026. The announcement comes as part of a packed white-ball schedule that will see the Men in Blue travel across multiple countries before heading to Africa.

India’s international commitments begin with a short tour of Ireland, followed by an extensive white-ball series against England. The team will play five T20Is and three ODIs in England before concluding this leg of the tour.

After completing these assignments, India will travel to Zimbabwe, marking another important bilateral engagement in their 2026 calendar.

Zimbabwe Series Confirmed for Late July

According to the official release, India will face Zimbabwe in three T20 Internationals, all scheduled to be played at the iconic Harare Sports Club.

The Harare venue has once again been preferred over Bulawayo’s Queens Sports Club, continuing its status as Zimbabwe’s primary host for high-profile international fixtures. Notably, the same venue hosted India’s previous tour matches in 2024.

In a reciprocal arrangement, Zimbabwe are also expected to tour India in January 2027 for a three-match ODI series.

Squad Rotation Likely Amid Packed Schedule

With a hectic international calendar and long-term planning for the 2027 ODI World Cup, India may opt to field a fresh squad for the Zimbabwe T20Is. Senior players involved in the ODI setup could be rested, allowing T20 specialists and emerging talents to step in.

Players like Suryakumar Yadav, Ishan Kishan, and Abhishek Sharma are expected to form the core of the T20 side. Meanwhile, youngsters performing well in IPL 2026 could earn opportunities to showcase their abilities on the international stage.
