India Women are scheduled to tour South Africa in December 2026 for a multi-format series that includes a one-off Test and a three-match ODI series. The red-ball fixture will be played in Gqeberha from December 20 to 23, marking only the fourth Test meeting between the two sides in women’s cricket.
The ODI series, which forms part of the ICC Women’s Championship, will be held between December 9 and 15 across Potchefstroom, Bloemfontein, and Cape Town. Ahead of the series, India Women will also play a warm-up match against South Africa Emerging in Benoni on December 6.
The upcoming Test will be just the second women’s Test hosted at St George’s Park, adding further significance to the encounter.

Australia Tour to Follow in Blockbuster Home Season
Following India’s tour, South Africa Women will host Australia Women in early 2027 for a full-fledged multi-format series. The tour, scheduled from March 18 to April 11, will feature three T20Is, three ODIs, and a one-off Test match.
The T20I leg will take place across Kimberley, Benoni, and East London. The ODI series will then move to Gqeberha, Paarl, and Durban, with the final ODI set to be held as the annual Black Day match.
The tour will conclude with a four-day Test in Potchefstroom from April 8 to 11, which will only be the second time South Africa Women and Australia Women face each other in the longest format.
