Fatima Sana To Lead As Pakistan Announce Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 Squad

Pakistan have retained Fatima Sana as captain for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, with five players preparing for their maiden appearance at the global tournament.

Pakistan Cricket Board has officially announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England and Wales, with Fatima Sana continuing as captain of the side. The squad will also participate in a preparatory tri-nation T20I series in Ireland ahead of the marquee ICC event.

The Pakistan women’s team will enter the tournament with a mix of experienced names and fresh faces, as five cricketers are set to feature in their maiden Women’s T20 World Cup campaign. The side will begin its World Cup journey with a blockbuster clash against the India women’s national cricket team on June 14 in Birmingham.

Five Pakistan Players Ready For First Women’s T20 World Cup

The selectors have included Eyman Fatima, Natalia Pervaiz, Rameen Shamim, Saira Jabeen and Tasmia Rubab in the squad, with all five players preparing for their first-ever Women’s T20 World Cup appearance.

Pakistan have continued to build a balanced squad around skipper Fatima Sana, who remains one of the key figures in the team setup. Alongside the newcomers, experienced campaigners such as Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Muneeba Ali Siddiqui and Sadia Iqbal will shoulder major responsibilities during the competition.
