Mumbai Indians have 5 matches left and must win all 5 to reach 14 points. Even then, they need big-margin wins and favorable results from teams like RCB, SRH, and RR. Their fixtures include LSG on May 4, RCB on May 10, PBKS on May 14, KKR on May 20 and RR on May 24.

Lucknow Super Giants have 6 matches remaining and need all 6 wins to reach 16 points. A single loss would leave them on 14 points and dependent on NRR. The May 4 match at Wankhede could decide early elimination.
