Netherlands lost Max O’Dowd early, falling in the third over to Scholtz. Despite that, the chase stayed on track.

Earlier, Namibia had posted 156/8 in 20 overs after the Netherlands chose to bowl first. The batting effort lacked depth. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton top-scored with 42 off 38 balls. Jan Frylinck added 30 from 26 deliveries. For the Netherlands, Logan van Beek and Bas de Leede took two wickets each.
