Bas de Leede anchored the chase with an unbeaten 72 off 48 balls. His innings included five fours and four sixes. Captain Scott Edwards stayed unbeaten on 18. Netherlands lost Max O’Dowd early, falling in the third over to Scholtz. Despite that, the chase stayed on track.

Earlier, Namibia had posted 156/8 in 20 overs after the Netherlands chose to bowl first. The batting effort lacked depth. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton top-scored with 42 off 38 balls. Jan Frylinck added 30 from 26 deliveries. For the Netherlands, Logan van Beek and Bas de Leede took two wickets each.
