Jammu and Kashmir captain Paras Dogra has been reportedly fined 50% of his match fee after an on-field altercation during the Ranji Trophy final in Hubbali. The incident occurred on Day 2 and drew immediate disciplinary action.

The match took place in the 101st over of J&K’s first innings. Dogra, batting with Kanhaiya Wadhawan, hit a Prasidh Krishna delivery for four. A verbal exchange followed with substitute fielder KV Aneesh at forward short leg. Dogra then moved toward Aneesh and made head contact with his helmet before Captain Mayank Agarwal intervened.
Umpires stepped in quickly to calm tensions. Soon after, another confrontation occurred when Vijaykumar Vyshak and Wadhawan made contact during a run. According to reports from Cricbuzz, Dogra later apologised, but Aneesh declined to accept it.
Notably, Dogra remains one of the senior professionals in the game and recently crossed 10,000 runs in Ranji Trophy cricket.
