RCB Win WPL 2026 After Beating Delhi Capitals by Six Wickets

Smriti Mandhana’s 87 led Royal Challengers Bengaluru(RCB) to a six-wicket win over Delhi Capitals(DC) as the franchise won the WPL 2026 title.

RCB secured their second title with a six-wicket win over Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2026 final. RCB captain Smriti Mandhana chose to bowl after winning the toss. DC set a target of 203, and RCB completed the chase at 204/4 in 19.4 overs. Radha Yadav struck two fours in succession to finish the match.

Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Voll shared a match-winning stand that shifted momentum early. Mandhana scored 87 from 41 balls. Voll contributed 79 off 54 deliveries. Delhi struck early when Chinelle Henry dismissed Grace Harris for 9 in the second over. Despite that wicket, Delhi struggled to break Mandhana and Voll. The partnership ensured control through the middle overs and sealed the match for Bengaluru.

In the first innings, Delhi Capitals had reached 203/4 after a strong finish in their 20 overs. Chinelle Henry starred in the latter part with an unbeaten 35 from 15 balls. She hit four fours and two sixes at a strike rate of 233.33. Henry added crucial runs with Laura Wolvaardt, who scored 44 from 25 balls before a runout on the final delivery.

Earlier, Jemimah Rodrigues got out after completing a half-century. For RCB, Nadine de Klerk removed Lizelle Lee for 37 from 30 balls. Arundhati Reddy dismissed Shafali Varma for 20 in the sixth over.
