Scotland Women have officially announced their squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, with experienced all-rounder Kathryn Bryce once again leading the side on the global stage. Scotland will now feature in the tournament for the second consecutive edition after qualifying through the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Global Qualifier.

The squad includes several experienced campaigners alongside emerging talents as Scotland aim to improve on their 2024 campaign. The team earned qualification after finishing second in Group B behind the Netherlands before progressing into the Super Six stage.

Despite suffering a defeat against Bangladesh, Scotland secured crucial victories over Ireland and USA to finish third in the qualifier standings and seal their World Cup berth.

The Scotland squad also includes three players from the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 setup. Gabriella Fontenla, wicketkeeper-batter Pippa Sproul and uncapped fast bowler Maisie Maceira have all earned spots in the senior squad after impressive performances at youth level.

Scotland are now set to begin preparations for the tournament with a home tri-series in Edinburgh featuring Bangladesh and the Netherlands. The fixtures will mark Scotland Women’s first home matches since 2022.
