South Africa remains unbeaten in the T20 World Cup Super 8 with a comfortable 5-wicket win over Zimbabwe, chasing 154 with 2.1 overs to spare.

South Africa continued their unbeaten run with a 5-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8. Zimbabwe posted 153/7 after choosing to bat first. Defending 154 on a small ground proved difficult.

Zimbabwe started well with 13 runs in the first over. South Africa removed both openers inside 5 overs. Sikandar Raza then anchored the innings with 73 off 43 balls, hitting 8 fours and 4 sixes. He added 38 runs with Dion Myers and 39 with Clive Madande, who made 26*.

Anrich Nortje and Kwena Maphaka replaced Kagiso Rabada and Marco Jansen. Maphaka impressed with 2/21 in 4 overs. Lungi Ngidi took his 90th T20 wicket, going past 89.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe struck early, reducing South Africa to 43/3. Raza took 3/29. Ryan Rickelton scored 31 and Dewald Brevis made 42. Brevis and David Miller added 50 in 25 balls. George Linde remained 30 not out. Tristan Stubbs made 21. South Africa reached 154/5 in 17.5 overs, securing their third win.
