ICC Announces Global Broadcast Plan for T20 World Cup 2026 Across TV, Digital and Audio Platforms

The ICC announced detailed worldwide broadcast arrangements for the Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, ensuring extensive multi-platform coverage across regions and languages.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially unveiled its broadcast plans for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will feature 20 teams competing in 55 matches from February 7 to March 8. Co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, the tournament will be available globally across television, digital, audio, and emerging platforms.

In addition to the main tournament, official warm-up matches will also be broadcast on select TV and digital platforms, giving fans an early preview of the teams ahead of the opening fixture.

India and Subcontinent Coverage

In India, JioStar will deliver tournament coverage through Star Sports on linear television and via the JioHotstar digital platform. All matches will be available in five languages—English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada—across TV and digital platforms. Additional regional feeds in Bengali, Bhojpuri, and Haryanvi will be offered on JioHotstar.

Coverage in Marathi and Indian Sign Language will be available for all India matches, semi-finals, and the final on JioHotstar. A vertical live feed in English and Hindi will also be provided on JioHotstar for mobile-first viewers. Fans can further access 360-degree viewing and Multi-cam features, including Hero, Stump, Battery, Field View, and Multi-View options.

JioStar has also partnered with PVR–INOX for nationwide cinema screenings of select matches during the tournament.

Star Sports will reach viewers in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives through its distribution partners across the subcontinent.

Sri Lanka Broadcast Partners

In Sri Lanka, Dialog TV will act as the official broadcast partner, offering live coverage on linear TV, the ThePapare.com website, and the Dialog Play mobile app. A Sinhala-language feed will be available on both linear and digital platforms. Coverage will also extend through TV Supreme, Dialog TV’s free-to-air partner, and Sri Lanka Telecom’s PEO TV platform.

UK, Europe and Oceania

Fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland can watch matches on Sky Sports Cricket and Sky Sports Main Event, with streaming available via NOW. Hindi commentary will be provided for the semi-finals and final. Sky Italia will broadcast all Italy matches, along with the semi-finals and final, marking Italy’s debut at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

In Australia, Prime Video will carry live coverage, including an additional Hindi commentary feed for all India matches, semi-finals, and the final. In New Zealand, SKY Sport will broadcast the tournament, also offering Hindi commentary for India matches and the knockout games.

Africa, Pakistan and Middle East

SuperSport will provide extensive TV and digital coverage across sub-Saharan Africa. In Pakistan, coverage will be delivered by PTV and Myco, supported by digital platforms Tamasha, ARY Zapp, and Tapmad. An Urdu commentary feed for Pakistan matches will be produced by the ICC and broadcast on PTV Home and partner digital platforms.

In the UAE and the wider MENA region, the tournament will be broadcast on CricLife Max via StarzPlay. Fans will also be able to watch matches on the big screen through cinema partnerships with VOX, Reel, Roxy, Cinepolis, Star, Mukta, and Epix Cinema across the region.

Americas and Global Digital Access

Willow TV will continue its coverage in the United States and Canada, streaming all 55 matches in English and Hindi. All USA matches will be available free for viewers in both countries and will also stream free on Willow’s official YouTube channel. Commentary will be available via Willow DTC and CricBuzz DTC platforms, with an alternative commentary option offered in partnership with Jomboy for USA vs India and USA vs Pakistan matches.

ESPN will broadcast all matches live in the Caribbean, while Disney+ will stream the tournament across Latin America. Select matches in Brazil will feature Portuguese commentary on ESPN’s linear platforms.

Asia-Pacific and Other Regions

In Bangladesh, Total Sports Management will broadcast the tournament on T Sports, Nagorik TV, and the Rabbithole digital platform. Additional broadcasters include PNG Digicel in the Pacific Islands, Hub Sports 4 in Singapore, Lemar TV in Afghanistan with Pashto and Dari commentary, and Kantipur TV in Nepal. Nepali commentary will also be available in select regions via ICC.tv.

In the Netherlands, NOS will live stream all matches involving the Netherlands. Fans in Malaysia and Hong Kong can watch via the CricBuzz channel through partnerships with Astro Cricket and PCCW.

The tournament will also be available in-flight and at sea on Sport 24, allowing fans to follow the action while travelling.

ICC Platforms and Radio Coverage

All remaining territories will have free live streaming access through ICC.tv. The platform will also offer commentary in multiple languages, including Japanese and Bahasa, with selected matches available on the ICC’s official YouTube channel.

The ICC mobile app will provide global access to English commentary. Radio coverage will be available on BBC in the UK and Ireland, ABC and SEN in Australia, All India Radio in India, and Derana FM in Sri Lanka.
