UAE secured a 5-wicket win over Canada in their T20 World Cup 2026 match in Delhi on Friday. Chasing 151, UAE reached 151/5 in 19.4 overs. Aryansh Sharma led the batting with an unbeaten 74 off 53 balls. He knocked six fours and three sixes. Sohaib Khan provided strong support with 51 off 29 balls. The pair added an important stand in the latter half of the chase.

Earlier, Canada posted 150/7 in 20 overs after winning the toss and batting first. Harsh Thaker top-scored with 50 off 41 balls. He hit two fours and three sixes. Navneet Dhaliwal added 34 off 28 balls. Shreyas Movva chipped in with 21 off 21 balls.
Junaid Siddique starred with the ball for UAE. He took a five-wicket haul to restrict Canada. This win is UAE’s second victory in eight matches across all editions of the T20 World Cup.
