Usman Tariq Responds to Cameron Green’s Chucking Gesture with Viral Post

Pakistan spinner Usman Tariq mocked Cameron Green on social media with a crybaby post after a chucking gesture during the PAK vs AUS T20I in Lahore.

Pakistan spinner Usman Tariq responded on social media after a heated moment involving Australia all-rounder Cameron Green during the second T20I in Lahore. The incident occurred as Australia chased 199 and collapsed to 108 all out in 15.4 overs. Pakistan secured a dominant 90-run win to seal the series.

Green was batting on 35 when he attempted an attacking shot against Tariq. The ball flew off a leading edge and was caught at point. As he walked back, broadcast footage showed Green making a chucking gesture that many viewed as a reference to an illegal bowling action.

A day later, Tariq posted an Instagram story showing a crying child. The post carried the caption “After getting out” along with a laughing emoji. The message was widely seen as a response to Green’s on-field reaction.

Tariq Previously Cleared by ICC

Notably, questions around Usman Tariq’s bowling action have surfaced before, though he has been cleared twice by the ICC. The spinner has previously explained that his arm movement is natural and medically verified.

In the match, Australia struggled heavily against spin. In the second T20I, all 10 wickets fell to spinners despite Australia fielding a stronger XI. Abrar Ahmed claimed 3 for 14, while Shadab Khan took 3 for 26 to derail the chase. Pakistan had already won the opening match by 19 runs and sealed the series in Lahore, their first T20I series win over Australia since 2018.

The final T20I will also be played in Lahore on Sunday. The Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet confirmed participation plans for the T20 World Cup, though the team is scheduled to travel to Sri Lanka next week.
