Virat Kohli celebrated passionately after scoring a single following consecutive ducks during the ongoing IPL 2026 season.

Virat Kohli celebrated passionately during Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s IPL 2026 match against Kolkata Knight Riders on May 13 after finally scoring a single and ending his sequence of consecutive ducks. The RCB batter smiled broadly and celebrated loudly after scoring a single against Saurabh Dubey.

Dubey bowled a slightly fuller delivery on middle stump and Kohli calmly tucked it towards midwicket to collect the run. The Chinnaswamy crowd cheered instantly as the former RCB captain got off the mark after two disappointing ducks in successive matches. Kohli had entered the game under heavy pressure following back-to-back ducks against Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bengaluru fought back brilliantly in the death overs to restrict Kolkata Knight Riders to 192/4 in the rain-delayed IPL 2026 clash in Raipur. The match started more than an hour late because of rain, but RCB pacers quickly made an impact with the new ball.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood removed both KKR openers early and kept pressure on the batting side during the powerplay. However, Jacob Duffy leaked runs and conceded 31 in his first four overs.

After six overs, RCB tightened their bowling and gave away only 20 runs in the next three overs before Angkrish Raghuvanshi launched a strong counterattack. The young batter produced the highest score of his IPL career with 71 off 46 balls before getting run out on the final delivery.

Cameron Green and Rinku Singh also accelerated during the middle overs as KKR looked set for 200-plus. However, accurate yorkers from Bhuvneshwar, Hazlewood and Rasikh Dar limited the damage. Rinku remained unbeaten on 49 after a late flourish.
