The BCCI has announced the annual player central contracts for Team India senior men and senior women for the 2025–26 season. The contract period runs from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026. A total of 30 male players received contracts across three grades, while 21 women featured in the list.

A key change saw senior batters Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma placed in Grade B after retiring from two formats. Both players stepped away from Test and T20I cricket, which influenced their revised contract status under the board’s current criteria.
For the men, Grade A includes Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, and Ravindra Jadeja. Grade B features Washington Sundar, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and more. Grade C consists of Axar Patel, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Shivam Dube, Sanju Samson, and the rest. The announcement was issued by BCCI honorary secretary Devajit Saikia.
