Jamieson, O’Rourke Return; Williamson Headlines Squad
New Zealand have strengthened their pace attack with the return of Kyle Jamieson and Will O’Rourke. Jamieson is set to feature in Test cricket for the first time in two years after recovering from injuries, while O’Rourke also makes a comeback as he regains full fitness.
Speaking about the pace unit, Walter said, “It’s a great privilege to start this next period of sustained red-ball cricket with all our pace bowlers ready to go. Will brings a quality set of skills and physical attributes which make him a hugely exciting addition to any Test team,” Walter added.
Former captain Kane Williamson also features in the squad, having earlier indicated he would decide his international commitments on a series-by-series basis.
