The PSL will host a special roadshow at Lord’s featuring stars like Babar Azam, Wasim Akram, Haris Rauf, Sahibzada Farhan, Ramiz Raja, and singer Ali Zafar to celebrate the league’s growth.
The Pakistan Super League is set to host a special roadshow at Lord’s, featuring a strong lineup of stars including Babar Azam, Wasim Akram, Sahibzada Farhan, Haris Rauf and Ramiz Raja. Singer Ali Zafar, long associated with the league, will also join the event. The PCB confirmed the list through a promotional poster, inviting fans in London to an evening celebrating the PSL’s rise over the past ten years.
The showcase highlights the league’s journey from a five-team tournament launched in the UAE to one of the most successful and fast-growing T20 competitions in world cricket. With plans to add two new teams, the PSL has already attracted interest from potential investors in the United Kingdom.
“The HBL PSL has rapidly evolved into one of the world’s most exciting and commercially robust T20 leagues. As the league prepares to expand with the addition of two new teams, it has already attracted significant interest from potential ownership groups across the United Kingdom – a testament to the PSL’s rising global profile and its strong connection with UK-based cricket stakeholders,” the board said in a press release.
The league, which last grew in 2018 with Multan Sultans, will increase from six to eight franchises as it enters its next phase of development.
