Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women celebrated their second WPL title with a late-night party after a thrilling final win over Delhi Capitals.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) marked their historic second Women’s Premier League title with jubilant late-night celebrations, as the champions let loose after their memorable triumph in the WPL 2026 final.
In a video shared on the franchise’s official social media handles, the RCB team bus turned into the first party venue on the way back to the hotel. Players were seen singing and dancing as celebrations began almost immediately after the win. Upon reaching the hotel, the team received a warm guard of honour from the staff, who formed a corridor by holding cricket bats high as the players walked through.
The celebrations continued indoors, with dhols and drinks adding to the festive atmosphere in the party hall. In one of the lighter moments captured on camera, spinner Shreyanka Patil was seen jumping excitedly alongside batter Grace Harris, as the energy levels soared.
How RCB Woman Scripted History In WPL 2026
Earlier in the final, Delhi Capitals were asked to bat first and recovered from a slow start to post a strong total of 203 for four. Lizelle Lee and Laura Wolvaardt steadied the innings before skipper Jemimah Rodrigues took charge with a fluent 57 off 37 balls. Chinelle Henry provided the finishing touch with a quickfire 35 off 15 deliveries.
In reply, RCB lost Grace Harris early, but captain Smriti Mandhana and Georgia Voll completely took control of the chase. The duo stitched together a match-defining 165-run partnership. Mandhana starred with a brilliant 87 off 41 balls, reaching her half-century in just 23 deliveries, while Voll supported her with a powerful 79 off 54.
Even after Voll’s dismissal, RCB held their nerve and sealed the chase with two balls to spare. The win saw RCB join Mumbai Indians as the most successful teams in WPL history, while Delhi Capitals suffered heartbreak in a fourth consecutive final.

The video also showed RCB fans crowding around the team bus. However, the franchise is unlikely to hold a public celebration this year due to last year’s tragic stampede during the men’s team IPL victory parade, which resulted in 11 deaths.
