Riyan Parag has been fined 25% match fee and given 1 demerit point for Code of Conduct breach during PBKS vs RR IPL 2026 match.

Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag faced disciplinary action after breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during Match 40 against Punjab Kings on April 30, 2026.

The IPL confirmed that Parag received a fine of 25% of his match fee along with 1 demerit point for a Level 1 offence. The charge falls under Article 2.21, which deals with conduct that brings the game into disrepute.

The incident took place during the second innings when Parag was seen using a vape inside the dressing room. Match referee Amit Sharma reviewed the matter and imposed the sanction. Parag admitted the offence and accepted the penalty without contest.
