The Pakistan Cricket Board extended the PSL submission deadline by one week due to growing international investor interest.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has extended the bid submission deadline for two new PSL franchises by one week. The new deadline is now December 22, 2025.
PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi announced the extension due to increasing interest from overseas investors. The reserve price for each new franchise is approximately PKR 1.25 billion.
Responding to International Interest for PSL
In a statement, Naqvi cited growing global attention as the reason for the delay. “Witnessing growing interest from the Europe, USA, the Middle East and beyond in acquiring new HBL PSL teams, we have decided to extend the bid submission deadline by one week to 22 December 2025. Good luck to everyone excited to welcome our new franchise owners to the HBL PSL family,” Mohsin Naqvi said.
The PCB has been actively promoting the league internationally. It recently held a roadshow at Lord’s in London and has another scheduled for New York.
